I feel very compelled to write this review for anyone considering this apartment complex so you don’t have my same experiences. As a young professional I was excited moving into a new build with brand new appliances etc. Don’t let the looks fool you, they are cheaply built like a cardboard box. I experienced windows that were installed wrong, constantly leaking. Cabinets that fall off hinges with one touch. However, the most troublesome experiences are the constant car break ins/theft. I... constantly felt very unsafe living here and had many experiences of looking out my window to armed police teams holding large guns and the street being completely blocked off. Management has very poor communication and it is obvious that the residents are not of value. There were a total of 3 shifts in management in one year. The internet that is built into the rent is very spotty and unfortunately goes completely off at times. I hope this serves as a warning for possible future residents!

Pros:
The building is new (less than a year old) so the units nicer and at this stage, clean. On top of that, the location is great in the sense of being VERY close to downtown and the major highways. Also, Eden Park is nearby. The residents are mostly young professionals and easy going.
Unfortunately that is the extent of it for me..
Cons:
The neighborhood is a mess. People don’t take care of their homes nearby (garbage/dog poop everywhere). The amenities are lacking. No gym. No pool.... Really nothing outside. At times I feel unsafe and Poste does not have as many security cams as they could. I also had MAJOR noise issues above me - blasting music, etc.
The price imo is a bit too steep. I would assume because the units are new, it can be justified. But for the size of apartments (also terrible storage space in unit), location (messy neighborhood), and lack of amenities.. it’s a bit pricey. They also charge $25 for a parking pass in the unsecured parking lot at the back. Which you have to consider because street parking is terrible
I would guess that in a few years this place will be a dump. The units look good but cheap materials used. For instance, my walls weren’t even painted but just primed (so easily damaged), the floor had chips in it, and the cabinets already had minor dents. Mind you.. I was the first ever resident.

I have been a resident since December of 2019. Since beginning my lease at Poste I have had my car broken into twice resulting in 2,000 worth of electrical damage, My Fiance has also had her car broken into on numerous occasions- we waited 3+ months after 10+ resident complaints for camera installation. We then decided to pay the additional $25/month/vehicle fee for the parking lots. Due to the lack of parking in the lots, overflow parking has crowded the surrounding streets making many roads... "one way" roads. I am unable to safely leave the parking lot due to cars blocking the exit. This has resulted in many many near accidents. I was told they contacted the City of Cincinnati on 8/21/2020 for "No Parking" signage to be posted and did not follow up until my second complaint on 10/9/2020.
In addition, the internet is included in the rent - you cannot opt out, you must call when it goes out, you will not be issued a credit either. The internet is out on average 1-2 times per week. The main areas are only cleaned once per week. Grounds are often full of trash and dead flowers. You will also pay an additional $25 for trash collection - although the dumpster is almost always full/overflowing.
